Deja Vu All Over Again

Here we go again. All the familiar elements are in place: "Anonymous sources" reporting chemical weapons caches, State Department warnings advising Americans to leave, political posturing, warships and troops amassing, and Pravda-esque national media that regurgitates whatever the government tells it to, without examination.

If I were a betting woman, I'd say that the odds are very good that we will soon see a false flag attack in the Middle East, which will be promptly blamed on the Syrian government. The smell of regime change is in the air, dearies. Not exactly the mood we had in mind, but hey, who listens to us? We're just the dummies who keep funding this shit with our tax dollars. Dollars that most of us would rather be spent on public infrastructure and services.

Addendum: See this from Stephen Lendman, in today's Op-Ed News.

Not to worry!

WE - probably won't get involved. This is the perfect excuse for that "other" middle eastern power (you know, the one that claims they have no nukes!) to show off their capabilities while Iran will be watching.

And when Iran gets pissed and sneezes or farts, that other country will use that as an excuse to say," But we wuz attacked, wuz only defending ourselves so that's why we jis HAD to nuke Tehran...and most of their country...and parts of Afghanistan (Oops, sorry if any [Liberty] Americans got killed (collateral dammage, you know?)...and parts of Pakistan...and they probably will have help on Pakistan from India!"

Looks like a great time for every chickenhawk involved.

Looks like Cheney will get richer.

Perfect scenerio for them to get fully involved then to drag us into.

Gotta luv the way they work.

And what's a little more radiation after Japan's "tiny little" incident?

Not to mention that Iran and Syria have had a mutual defense pact for years.

And isn't it the neocons wet dream to control both those countries? They don't give a shit how many people have to die to accomplish their goals - they're complete sociopaths.

As long as no relatives of those assholes die, let loose the dogs of war!
