No respite in sight

The GOP political ads running on Greenville, SC television stations have reached critical mass in both sheer quantity and unintentional comic value. The developing adultery scandal of teabagger and "dull normal" candidate Nikki Haley (Sarah Palin's heavily endorsed favorite) provides ongoing amusement, as you might expect. "She's pro-development and pro-second amendment!" screeches Palin, which of course is nutbag code for anti-environmental gun freak - a requirement for any SC repug. I personally love it anytime those who purport to be paragons of "family values" and "Christian morals" get busted being sleazier than the people they're always bitching about.
But what's truly hilarious is the way the wingnut fundies are eating their own faster than sharks devouring a bucket of chum. Fighting over who is the most "battle-tested conservative", xenophobic racist, and rabid free-market loon is bordering on bloodsport. I only wish I had the time and energy to set up a betting pool.

Personally, something that amazes me in wingnut politics in general is how they always find these trained-fembots to espouse the misogynistic, patriarchal, anti-women's rights platform.
It generally seems to be these fundy, dull-wit women who are so desperate for approval from men and patriarchal culture that they'll espouse a profoundly self-defeating mindset for their pat on the head from men.
ICK.
