Another Psychotic Break With Reality For the Busheviks

Yesterday, in an attempt to defend the Bush veto of federal funding for blastocyst stem cell research, Georgia Senator Saxby Chamblis declared that "taxpayers shouldn't have to fund things they find morally objectionable". OH, I AM SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT! Who do I speak to about not paying for the Iraq boondoggle, the murder of innocent people, secret torture gulags, subsidizing the corporate rape and plunder of the environment (and public lands that supposedly belong to "we the people") , the torture and killing of millions of defenseless, sentient laboratory animals, for absolutely no usable knowledge that can be applied to humans, all for the financial benefit of the government grant gravy train in academia, and, well, the list could go on and on.
How grotesque is it that these "culture of life" folks have no concern with any of the above moral obscenities, but foam at the mouth at the idea that a clump of cells in a petri dish might be harmed? What do these people tell themselves when they look at themselves in the mirror every morning?! Can you say D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L, boys and girls?
