At least it's Friday!

Oh, and what a Friday it was!

This illustration is a testament to Michael Pollen's In Defense of Food.

Real food hardly exists today. For the most part, it has to be meticulously sought out. Shopping in a typical "grocery" store is tantamount to walking through a minefield -- where the shrapnel is fat, sugar, and unpronounceable ingredients, and the resulting wounds inflict diabetes, heart-disease, and cancer (with a Big Gulp of obesity!).

Bless those who grow their own, organically, and have gotten off the factory-food death march.

Boy, that's for sure! As a diabetic, I struggle to find any grocery product that isn't laced with sugar or high fructose corn syrup. It's insane - no wonder diabetes is an epidemic! Not to mention all the chemicals they allow in food and food containers!

I'm pretty much making everything from scratch now. Takes more time but I'm way healthier for it.

Corporate collusion!

Eliminate the healthy foods:
Watch as disease grows:
Increase medical expenses:
Convince people they will get better if they take more pills:
Collect outrageous revenue from the dupes:
Funnel it back to those who created the bad food, expensive medical and barkers who sell the stuff.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat - ad infinitum or until the rubes catch on, then adjust the spiel and start over!

The Circle of Corporate Life.
