So now they want to take your Social Security...

Veteran's Today says that based on a new report, the Iraq War:

-Killed nearly 200,000 people – including more than 4,400 American troops — and will cost U.S. taxpayers at least $2.2 trillion dollars. (Other sources show many more deaths).

-A big chunk of that will go to caring for our wounded veterans.

-The Department of Veterans Affairs cooked the books in order to downplay veterans’ assertions that burn pits, pesticides, nerve agents and other pollutants made them sick.

-Former VA doctor Steven Coughlin told congress the department suppressed and manipulated data backing the health claims of Iraq, Afghanistan and Persian Gulf veterans.

Hey, thanks Cheney-BushCo, and all your evil partners in crime! Too bad all  the million+ dead people  can't speak out anymore, but hey, at least you all skipped out of office without any ill effects or troublesome legal consequences! (thanks to your good buddy/protege Obummer...)

March 20 marks the 10th anniversary of the Iraq war.
