So How are YOU Feeling?

Personally, I'm feeling a sense of relief that the attempts at manipulating the vote counting (and poll access in heavily democratic areas) apparently didn't succeed. I also had a limited sense of relief today in terms of issues such as wildlife, public lands, reducing tensions with Iran, and women's reproductive rights.

But let's not kid ourselves - we got the lesser of two evils, to be sure. And those of us who are less than thrilled with Obama's first term (understatement!) need to immediately start making ourselves heard in blunt, concrete terms. Especially about Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Glenn Greenwald goes into specifics, and makes some excellent observations - although I disagree with his characterization of Obama as a "liberal". Based on most of his first terms actions, he's far from it.

See what you think.

I'm in complete agreement, Anna.
There are so many issues on various levels, such as Iran, and other foreign policy, the Patriot Act, Bradley Manning, the Keystone pipeline, Monsanto, tougher tax codes for large corporations - and the list goes on.

If Barry is a liberal, then why does he have sooo many Republicans (and hold overs from the Bush Administration) in his administration?

I said it before and will say it until the next delection or until Biden takes over:

If I wanted Republicans in this Administration, I'd have voted for them!!! Are you Democrats in the DCCC, DNC, KFC, MTA and any other acronyms that come to mind, listening? I'm watching 2014. Better choose carefully.

There can be NO excuse for Obama selecting conservatives, climate deniers, anti-science assholes or professed Republican CEOs and certainly no old bastards like Simpson and Bowles to any appointed or selected position including cesspool cleaner!
