Happy Summer Solstice!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The sun is shining, the berries are falling off the bushes, and the early morning breeze is gentle.

Our Australian friends are facing the first day of winter...or what passes for winter down under. Oh well! Our turn will come soon enough. In the meantime, let's enjoy each moment of light and warmth that we can. Who knows what next summer will bring, or if the world will even be on the grid by then?

Our great-grandparents knew that the time to make hay is when the sun shines. But sadly, the skills and how-to knowledge of their generation has largely been lost on the masses. Hopefully, this year will see an upsurge of people learning the skills and the way of life that will be needed for surviving in the days and years to come.

The PTB are not serving your needs. They are busy grasping what's left of the earth's resources wherever they can and as fast as they can. They are feathering their nests and sealing their compounds. People who think that when catastrophe strikes the "government" will be there to save them are living in a mass media-induced dreamworld.

Enjoy this wonderful time of the year! Enjoy each moment with nature that you can!  But never assume that our lives will continue as usual ad infinitum.

Make hay while the sun shines, friends. Make hay while the sun shines....

Wonderful words of wisdom, my friend. Just as this season's high point passes today, symbolically will we continue to lose light as the coming decade reveals a supreme crisis in the making?

We're entering uncharted water. Will the last days of this concluding part of the saeculum bring total and mass destruction, or will a new paradigm lift humankind into its next phase of enlightenment?

We live in interesting times.

I wonder about that, too...almost constantly!

Look to and for clues to the crises.

Another suggestion:
"Start preparing today. Have an escape route ready if you live in an American city."
